Welcome to Mars
Welcome to Mars was my first game, which I started developing in 2017 when I was 13 years old. I was so inspired by the movie The Martian that I decided to make a game based on that movie. It was my first experience in Unity, so don't be surprised that it's done so poorly. Unfortunately, due to my lack of experience in 3D and 2D modeling, the project was abandoned in 2018. Below is a translated snippet of the game's plot, which was on this site from 2017 to 2023:
Welcome to Mars is a game by MilkGames based on the movie "The Martian" and the book "The Martian" by Andy Weyer. You are Mark Watney: have been chosen for your fourth mission to Mars. It was the 18th of July and you are told that you have to go home because the wind is 175 kph and the center itself can only withstand 150 kph, you go to the shuttle on which you were supposed to fly home, but then something unexpected happened. The main communication antenna couldn't take it, snapped off, on the way it crashed into an array of receiving antennas, and one of them - a long thin thing - stabbed you in the side like a knife. Everyone thought you were dead, but you weren't. You miraculously survived and made it to the main center, while handling it yourself. Now: will Mark survive or not? You'll find out later in the game itself. (Google Translate)
